I wouldn’t fault the hotel for the noise issues but we had a room of four wedding attendees next to us and they were highly intoxicated and yell-talking both Thursday and Friday night. Staff was helpful in getting them to quiet down on Friday. We did have a little issue in that housekeeping didn’t refill our Kerig supplies and certain toiletries. Bed was amazingly comfortable, bath products were lovely. Indoor/outdoor guest room with private wrought iron framed porch on the second-floor pool deck.

Our last stay was at Harbourview and really wasn’t impressed. Last time we stayed at the Mills was prior to a lot of the renovations. We were pleased with the updates to the bar\restaurant, check in area.

Very good hotel in great location and good service from front of house staff. Let your trip unfold like a page in a novel or scene from a movie. There are many sides to Charleston’s character. The Mills House has been here for much of Charleston’s vibrant history, but make no mistake, this is no old-fashioned city stuck in the past.

The property, now a Curio Collection by Hilton hotel, features fully redesigned guest rooms, new suites, a rooftop bar, a pool, and two new eateries. The renovation, led by interior design firm Ealain Studio, welcomes guests through a beautiful garden with lounge furniture and shade canopies. Arched columns lead to a vibrant courtyard anchored by a beautiful water fountain, hanging lights, and an outdoor fireplace. The elegant, light-filled lobby is an elevated take on traditional Southern porches and features a beautiful seating area with a grand chandelier.
