All staff very friendly and helpful with advice or suggestions. The location was great to walk the historic district and a lot of attractions. Great decor and seating options on the ground made it easy to relax or conduct work. I appreciated the convenient market on the ground floor although overpriced.

With our celebrated “pink hotel,” a beloved downtown Charleston landmark, as the most photogenic backdrop for your sunny poolside afternoon cocktails or late-night drinks, the pool terrace stuns. I wouldn’t fault the hotel for the noise issues but we had a room of four wedding attendees next to us and they were highly intoxicated and yell-talking both Thursday and Friday night. Staff was helpful in getting them to quiet down on Friday. We did have a little issue in that housekeeping didn’t refill our Kerig supplies and certain toiletries. Bed was amazingly comfortable, bath products were lovely. Indoor/outdoor guest room with private wrought iron framed porch on the second-floor pool deck.

The renovation, led by interior design firm Ealain Studio, welcomes guests through a beautiful garden with lounge furniture and shade canopies. Arched columns lead to a vibrant courtyard anchored by a beautiful water fountain, hanging lights, and an outdoor fireplace.
